9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Westmoreland’s Union Manor – located at 6404 SE 23rd Avenue. Twice monthly classes – typically the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays – with a long-standing practice group that also welcomes other beginners. This class is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. $10 fee Upcoming Dates: December 4th & 18th

8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Awakenings Wellness Center located at 1016 SE 12th Avenue (just south of Belmont) We start with a variety of light warm-ups and stretches, then move into qigong forms, standing meditation, Internal Alchemy – whatever seems most appropriate for the day. ENTER thru the side of the building – up the steps to the deck. Fee is $10. This group also meets weekly; I teach the 2nd & 4th Thursdays.
12:00 to 1:00 pm Portland Community College CLIMB center location near OMSI. QIGONG for HEALING, an eight week series runs January 16th through March 5th. Register directly at www.pcc.edu/nc. If you or someone you know is interested in learning Qigong, this is a wonderful introduction.

9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Oak Street Studios the “O” Building, 232 SE Oak Street (1 block N of Stark), Portland; 1st floor, on-street parking. MORNING MOVING MEDITATION. An offering for those unable to attend mid-week. We will cover a variety of empowering grounding practices and series to balance Yin & Yang as we flow through this Yin time of year.
10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Calaroga Terrace – so wonderful to be working with these appreciative, wise seniors who realize that we can still work on healing our bodies in later life. RESIDENTS ONLY

WORLD TAI CHI & QIGONG DAY: We had a beautiful demonstration at the Portland Farmers’ Market. In essence, we were practicing with people world-wide on this day of appreciation for these healing arts ~ very inspiring! Many thanks to those who participated ~ especially my son and daughter!
